Oh, sweet Blanche. If only this precious girl could tell us her story. 💔
Blanche is an estimated 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who was recently found alone in the woods near Crockett, TX. A kind family had been spotting her on their game camera at their property, and when they went looking for her, they found this sweet girl lying in the woods, all by herself.
We have no idea how long Blanche had been out there, what she's been through, or how she ended up alone in the first place. But one thing is certain — this girl deserves a much brighter chapter in her life. ❤️
Blanche is a little timid and shy at first, but underneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who seems so willing to trust. Despite whatever her past may hold, she has shown nothing but kindness toward the people helping her. She's also been completely unbothered by the other dogs in her foster home!
One of the first things you'll notice about Blanche is her adorable little tongue, which hangs out to one side of her mouth. While it certainly gives her a unique and endearing look, we're concerned that it may be the result of an old injury to her jaw. We'll be having her evaluated to better understand what's going on and whether she needs any medical treatment.
For now, Blanche is safe, loved, and settling into a foster home with the very family who found her. No more sleeping alone in the woods. No more wondering where her next meal will come from. Just soft places to rest, gentle hands, and the chance to finally feel secure.
There's something incredibly special about this sweet girl. Maybe it's her gentle spirit, her willingness to trust despite her circumstances, or that precious little face with her tongue peeking out. Whatever it is, Blanche has already stolen our hearts. ❤️
