Meet Haven 🩷 — Protector of Pups, Goats & Hearts!

Haven is an estimated 2-year-old Great Pyrenees who arrived as a stray at the Brazoria County SPCA with her four 4-month-old puppies… and a GOAT! 🐐😂
Yes, you read that right. A goat!
We have no idea what this little family’s story was, but we do know one thing: Haven was doing exactly what Great Pyrenees do best — protecting her herd. And apparently, her herd included not only her four puppies, but her goat friend too!
Haven is just about as sweet as they come. This beautiful girl wants nothing more than love, attention, pets and cuddles from her people. She absolutely adores humans and is perfectly happy being close to the ones she loves. 🥰
She also does wonderfully around other dogs. She’s easygoing, friendly and has such a lovely temperament.
There is, however, ONE thing that gets Haven a little worked up: that goat! 😂
If she hears the goat she came in with but can't see her, Haven immediately goes into Great Pyrenees mode. She knows her job, and she's not about to let her herd wander off without making sure everything is okay!
Honestly, we can't help but love that about her. ❤️
Despite whatever she has been through, Haven hasn't lost her faith in people. She's still affectionate, trusting and eager for human companionship. Now that her puppies are taken care of, we're so excited for Haven's turn to find a family of her very own.
She is precious, loving, dog-friendly and absolutely deserving of a soft place to land and a family who will love her for the wonderful girl she is.
Her days of worrying about her herd are hopefully coming to an end.
Now it's time for Haven to be someone's baby. 🩷🐾
