Honeybee
🍯 Meet Honeybee — Our Daily Dose of Sweetness! 🍯
Sometimes a dog comes along who has every reason to be sad about what she’s been through… and instead, she chooses happiness. That’s our girl Honeybee. 💛
Honeybee is a gorgeous 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix who arrived at Montgomery County Animal Shelter with a fractured back leg. Sadly, her leg could not be saved and had to be amputated while she was at the shelter. The shelter took wonderful care of her, and once she was ready, Honeybee made her way to Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue.
Now, this beautiful tripod is showing everyone exactly what she’s made of—and it’s pure sweetness. 🥰
Honeybee has the BEST personality! She is an absolute love bug who has settled into her foster home as though she’s always belonged there. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is simply… happy. Despite everything she has been through, she holds no grudges and seems determined to enjoy every minute of life.
And Honeybee has discovered her true calling: lounging. 😂
She is an absolute CHAMP at sleeping and relaxing, and honestly, it may be her favorite hobby. Her foster sends us pictures every day, and I’ve started calling them our “Daily Dose of Honey” because every single photo seems to feature that adorable little face just chillin’ out. 🍯🐾
There is something incredibly special about a dog who loses a leg but never loses her joy.
Honeybee doesn’t care that she has three legs. She cares about being loved, being near her people, making friends with the other dogs, and finding a comfy spot to settle in for a good nap.
This sweet girl is ready for the forever family she has been waiting for. She would make a wonderful addition to just about any family looking for a loving, easygoing, happy-go-lucky companion.
Three legs. One giant heart. And enough sweetness to brighten every single day. 💛
