Alamo

Meet Alamo ❤️

Sometimes the sweetest dogs are the ones who have had to figure out how to survive on their own.

Meet Alamo, a very young Great Pyrenees boy who is estimated to be around a year old, possibly even a little younger. For the past couple of months, Alamo had been hanging around a local business. The people there were kind enough to feed him and make sure he had water, but unfortunately, no one was in a position to take him home or provide him with a foster.

They knew he deserved better, though, so they reached out to us and asked us to help.

And we're so glad they did. ❤️
When one of our volunteers went to meet Alamo and evaluate him, this sweet boy practically bounded over to her and immediately flopped onto his back for belly rubs. 🥹

That's Alamo.

Despite spending months living on the streets, he hasn't let it steal his happiness or his trust in people. He's just a young, happy, incredibly sweet boy who seems absolutely thrilled to be around anyone willing to give him some love and attention.

Now Alamo is safe in a TGPR foster home, where he can finally relax, learn what it's like to have a soft place to sleep, regular meals, fresh water, and people who are looking out for him.
We can't help but wonder what his life was like before he started hanging around that business, but we do know one thing: his life is about to get a whole lot better.

Alamo has spent enough time wondering where his next meal will come from. Now he's ready to discover what it feels like to be someone's beloved family member.

This sweet boy has so much life ahead of him, and we can't wait to watch him blossom.

Welcome to TGPR, Alamo. ❤️
Your days of living on the streets are over. You're home now. 🐾
